Event Description
We’re excited to announce that we are partnering with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) and the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation at this year’s Lambeth Country Show, to raise awareness of the new NHS Lung Cancer Screening Programme (formerly known as the Targeted Lung Health Check) and the importance of early lung cancer detection.
The event - which expects to welcome over 120,000 visitors this year - will be taking place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June 2025, between 1 - 9pm at Brockwell Park. The event is un-ticketed and free to attend on both days.
Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation will be bringing their striking 12ft walk-through "Mega Inflatable Lungs" to help draw visitors to the lung cancer screening stand. The walk-through inflatables are a powerful way to engage people in meaningful conversations about lung health.
We will also be joined by respiratory nurses at GSTT who will be speaking to attendees about lung cancer and encouraging people who are invited for lung cancer screening to get checked – as it can make a life-saving difference.
If you’d like to learn more, show your support or simply enjoy the atmosphere – we would love to see you there. Find out more about the event and where to find our lung cancer screening stall here: https://www.lambethcountryshow.co.uk/
