Event Description

This blended course will empower you to develop new communication models, skills and behaviours. Drawing upon real-life examples from your practice, we'll use role play with professional actors to rehearse and reflect upon challenging conversations. 

Mode: 

• Self-paced online learning.
• One-to-one Zoom session with a course facilitator.
• Two one day live Zoom workshops (approximately 5 hours per day).

Time commitment: 

13 hours (two 5 hour live sessions, plus 3 hours self-paced learning and a 20 minute one-to-one Zoom session)Cost:

The course fee is £775.Please note: This course is run by FrontLine Communication, in partnership with SELCA.

SELCA have a limited number of funded places available.  SELCA funded places will be prioritised to:

  *   Core members of the MDT (consultant level, nurses and AHPs band 7 and above)

  *   Nurses and AHPs on the diagnostic pathway band 7 and above

  *   Consultants, nurses and AHPs band 7 and above in palliative care

• Band 6 and 7 screening nurses

All other requests should be discussed with Trust Lead Cancer Nurse.
